Attrition RUles

Understand the base ruleset to get started playing.  You'll quickly see the logic and find with a little practice you'll be ready to move to the advanced players conditions, page two.  This becomes a chess match as you gain control of your shot.  Shot control is hard, but it's possible with practice.

Rule Sets

The list of rule sets are in order of the developer's favorites. The details are complete and will be released with the board. Manufacturing processes are in the works! As soon as those are finalized the proprietary rules will be released.  I am interested to see where these go and how they develop over time. Updated - 01/18/2025

  1. Attrition - Competitive & strategic with serious comeback potential. THIS truly encompasses Pivic. The primary game, 2 or 4 players, head to head alternate shot. Eliminate the balls tied or better, or score 3 points. Win by points with some unexpected nuances.
  2. Scuttle - Playing from the same side of the table makes for an interesting battle. Honing long shots and close up angles. Very low to very high scoring opportunities.
  3. Side Out - Removing initial arbitrary ball placement this game forces distance and angle precision. This game can be hard and frustrating but for those with persistence it helps develop their longer and angled distance shots. Rule set can feel a bit more complicated.
  4. Jeopardy Ball - First developed for multiple colors and 2-4 players. Comeback potential and competitive. End of the game begins to feel more like "Maddie Ball".
  5. Maddie Ball - The original rule set.  4 balls all the same color. Good for honing angles and distance shots for Addressed goals. A bit slow but with a steady hand it can be a lot of fun.
  6. One Ball - A nice and easy heads up game. Alternate shot with only one ball on the table. Simple rules and great practice for two players while remaining competitive. First to three points wins in this distance, finesse and slightly strategic game.
